Slips

We offer transient, seasonal, and annual slips. Seasonal slips can accommodate vessels up to 30' LOA, run from April 1st - October 31st, and include water hook-up. Annual slips can accommodate vessels up to 42' LOA, run from January 1st - December 31st, and include water hook-up and one 30 AMP shore power receptacle. We also offer the only covered slips in the St. Michaels Harbor, as annual slips under the covered shed.

Directions & Arrival

When coming into the St. Michaels Harbor, you will pass the Hooper's Strait Lighthouse at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum on your right. Continue into the harbor and keep the Crab Claw restaurant on your right. After coming past the Crab Claw restaurant, Higgins Yacht Yard will be directly straight ahead. "A" Dock will be on the left side, and "B" Dock will be on the right side. Hail us on channel 16 upon your arrival. We will acknowledge you, then have you switch to our personal channel: 69. From here, we will direct you to your slip and assist with your lines.

Yacht & Cruising Clubs

We host a variety of yacht clubs and cruising clubs each year. Once we have the information of each vessel, including the dimensions and electric needs, we will place on a 30-day hold on the slips to reserve. We will then request that each captain call in to confirm their information and place a credit card on file.

Pump Out

The ShoreRivers pumpout boat is a free service offered on the Miles River.

Hours of operation are everyday, varied, from Mid-May to November 6th.

Rates

All rates are based on the vessel's LOA (length over all) including bow sprit, outboard, swim platform, dinghy, dinghy davit, and any other equipment. Holidays and special event weekends require a two-night minimum stay. The weekends of Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day require a three-night minimum stay. For all reservations, a valid credit card is required to be placed on file, and a confirmation email will be sent. Payment is due in full upon check-in.

Slips

Weekdays: $2.25/ft per night, $75 minimum

Weekends/holidays/special events: $3.25/ft per night, $100 minimum

Hourly dockage*: $20/hour, $40 minimum

*Hourly slips are available on a first-come first-serve basis, and reservations are not accepted in advance.

Single 30 AMP: $15 per night

Twin 30 AMP: $25 per night

Single 50 AMP: $25 per night

Twin 50 AMP: $50 per night
